This is the Isle of Dogs Sea Cadet Unit, we explain what the Sea Cadets are and what we do in the Cadets.

Water Confidence session

We took our first trip to the docks at the Royal Victoria Docks Boat Station.

We learned about the base, how to fit the buoyancy aids and helmets, and had a tour of the site including a welcome from the manager.

The session finished with a water confidence session which was passed by all.

We go back to the docks to go sailing, a fun session was had by all on the laser picos.

Trip downriver on the Clipper Uber Boat

We take a trip on the Clipper Uber Boat from Greenwich to Woolwich return through the Thames Barrier.

RYA Sea Survival Course

We take the RYA Sea Survival Course in the classroom and at Tiller Road Pool on the Isle of Dogs

We now have 16 new Sea Survival students who hold the Royal Yachting Association Sea Survival Certificate.

We take the Isle of Dogs Sea Cadets to the Royal Victoria Docks to windsurf and sail.

After a sneaky hot chocolate we boarded the Uber Thames Clipper at Canary Wharf for a Trip to the City and Returning to Mast House Terrace Pier
