RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Theory Course Dates Dates November 15,16 22,23 29,30 This is a classroom based course spread over 6 weekend days. This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Coastal Skipper course and Yachtmaster Coastal/Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills. Prior Knowledge/Experience: Min requirement of RYA Day Skipper Theory or equivalent knowledge. If it is a while since you took your Day Skipper or equivalent please ensure that you feel reasonably comfortable with nautical charts, plotting positions, EPs CTSs, tidal curves and have a basic knowledge of Col Regs. Cancellation Policy
You are advised to arrange your own insurance at the time of booking to cover personal accidents, cancellations, and medical. Cancellation by the client. It is not possible to change dates once you have booked. You may cancel your course at any time. Cancellation charges are as follows. Cancellation up to four weeks prior, full refund two weeks prior 50% refund after two weeks no refund but you may place someone else on your course place and will have to forwards full details. Pets are not allowed in the classroom except for guide dogs. If City Sailing has to change dates due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control we will fully refund or move you to the next available date. Replacement Certificates - If you need a replacement certificate the fees ate £30 for Sea Survival, Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory £20 for First Aid, Radar.
