Service Description
A two evening course giving you an understanding of radar as an aid to navigation and collision avoidance. Cruising boats increasingly have radar on board. The International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea state that if you have a radar, you must know how to use it. We explain how the set works, how to interpret the picture and understand the uses and limitations of your set.

Cancellation Policy
You are advised to arrange your own insurance at the time of booking to cover personal accidents, cancellations, and medical. Cancellation by the client. It is not possible to change dates once you have booked. You may cancel your course at any time. Cancellation charges are as follows. Cancellation up to four weeks prior, full refund two weeks prior 50% refund after two weeks no refund but you may place someone else on your course place and will have to forwards full details. Pets are not allowed in the classroom except for guide dogs. If City Sailing has to change dates due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control we will fully refund or move you to the next available date. Replacement Certificates - If you need a replacement certificate the fees ate £30 for Sea Survival, Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory £20 for First Aid, Radar.
