The syllabus covers situations you are likely to encounter while at sea, with particular emphasis on resuscitation techniques and caring for a person overboard. We also explain how to obtain outside medical assistance and what to expect when involved in a helicopter rescue scenario. The certificate is valid for three years and is essential to everyone who sails.

This course explains the fire triangle, and extinguishers on board and gives you a chance to use fire extinguishers for real giving you the best chance if you experience a fire onboard.
