Service Description

This course will teach you how to cope with medical emergencies on board, from minor ailments to serious situations that require an immediate response. The syllabus covers situations you are likely to encounter while at sea, with particular emphasis on resuscitation techniques and caring for a person overboard. We also explain how to obtain outside medical assistance and what to expect when involved in a helicopter rescue scenario. The certificate is valid for three years and is essential to everyone who sails.

Cancellation Policy

You are advised to arrange your own insurance at the time of booking to cover personal accidents, cancellations, and medical. Cancellation by the client. It is not possible to change dates once you have booked. You may cancel your course at any time. Cancellation charges are as follows. Cancellation up to four weeks prior, full refund two weeks prior 50% refund after two weeks no refund but you may place someone else on your course place and will have to forwards full details. Pets are not allowed in the classroom except for guide dogs. If City Sailing has to change dates due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control we will fully refund or move you to the next available date. Replacement Certificates - If you need a replacement certificate the fees ate £30 for Sea Survival, Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory £20 for First Aid, Radar.
